This riotous musical, inspired by the farces of ancient Rome, tells the story of Pseudolus, a slave who attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door.

The plot displays many classic elements of farce, including puns, cases of mistaken identity (frequently involving characters disguising themselves as one another), and satirical comments on social class.

Tex-Rep’s Drama Camp is designed to give young people the opportunity to appreciate theatre arts by learning related skills, techniques and disciplines. The theatre experience also prepares students for life by emphasizing team building, responsibility and self-confidence.
