The world’s most beloved musical! When a postulant named Maria proves too highspirited for religious life, she is dispatched to serve as a governess for the seven children of a widowed naval captain. Her growing rapport with the youngsters, coupled with her generosity of spirit, gradually captures the heart of the stern captain and the entire Von Trapp family in one of the most thrilling and inspirational true life stories ever put on stage. Audience favorites include such timeless hits as: My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Edelweiss, the show-stopping Climb Ev’ry Mountain and, of course, the title song, The Sound of Music.

Welcome to the slightly skewed world of Greater Tuna! Texas’ third smallest town; where everyone listens to Radio OKKK, the Lions club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. Tuna’s residents include a variety of eccentrics, bigots, and oddballs and they’re as clever as they are entertaining. Tex*Rep’s resident quick-change experts, Michael Cooper and Chris Polson (THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP) play a total of 20 characters . . . jumping in and out of dresses or overalls in as little as nine seconds! Don’t miss this explosion of fun and laughter!

Based on the Newberry Award-winning book! When Stanley Yelnats is wrongly convicted of theft, he is sent to a juvenile detention center in the middle of the desert. At Camp Green Lake, the warden makes the boys “build character” by spending all day, every day, digging holes: five feet wide and five feet deep. It doesn’t take long for Stanley to realize there’s more than character improvement going on at Camp Green Lake. The boys are digging holes because the treacherous warden is searching for something, and before long Stanley begins his own search—for the truth.

nunsense

Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award. Set at a Catholic school in the Bronx in 1964. A strict headmistress comes to suspect a new priest of sexually abusing a student, but she cannot prove her allegations. If she charges him, she will certainly destroy his career, and perhaps her own. She questions an idealistic young nun and the mother of the accused boy, the first black student ever admitted to the school. This thought-provoking story leaves us with questions about what has—and should have—happened, who is right or wrong, and the nature of faith and love.
