Absurd Person Singular is a play about three couples whose lives are portrayed over three consecutive Christmas Eves. At the start Sidney is a small businessman with a house-proud wife, Jane; Ronald is a rather boring bank manager whose wife, Marion, is perhaps a little too fond of a drink; and Geoffrey is an architect whose amorous affairs have turned his wife , Eva, into a nervous hypochondriac.
